Here is your opportunity to see the world's largest airplane manufacturer assembling one of the most complex machines in history.
The Boeing Company announced in 1966 that it would build the world's largest jet airliner, the 747. This would require the company to construct an equally impressive manufacturing complex. The complex is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest building in the world by volume. The building has grown over the years to enclose 472 million cubic feet of space (13.3 million cubic meters). Its footprint covers 98.3 acres (39.8 hectares) and houses assembly for Boeing wide-body aircraft -- the 747, 767, and 777. On the Boeing flight line, visitors will see airplanes in various stages of flight test and manufacture for airline customers around the world. Not to be missed!

Tours begin at 7:30am and 12:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday-There are no tours at noon or on weekends.
The Plant is 30 minutes from downtown Seattle.

General tour information
- All tours are conducted in English and last a little over one hour.
- The Boeing Company does not permit still photos or video cameras on company property.
- Children must be at least 4 feet 2 inches (127 cm) tall to go on tour. Visitors may not carry babies on the tour. There is no child care facility at the Tour Center, and there are no exceptions to these safety regulations.
- There are no handcarried items allowed on tour. These items include: purses, backpacks, cameras, binoculars, cell phones, etc.
- The tour requires a one-third mile walk, 21 steep stairs and an elevator ride.
- There are rest room facilities, snacks and drink machines available at the Tour Center. Rest rooms are available before and after the tour. There are no rest rooms available on the tour.
